Alumni Share Experiences with Students

The Alumni-Student Meetup organized by Karabük University Vocational School of Health Services brought together graduates to share their career journeys and work experiences with students.

The event, held at the Tourism Faculty Small Conference Hall, featured Paramedics Merve Biçer and Faruk Tümen as speakers. It was attended by Dr. Durdane Yılmaz Güven, Director of the Vocational School of Health Services, along with academic staff and students.

In her opening speech, Dr. Durdane Yılmaz Güven highlighted the importance of such events, emphasizing that alumni sharing their experiences plays a crucial role in helping students shape their career goals.

Faruk Tümen and Merve Biçer shared their experiences regarding the job application process and their professional journeys, providing students with insights on opportunities, challenges, and solutions they might encounter in their careers.

The event included discussions on career planning and current developments in the healthcare sector. It concluded with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to the participants.
