Students of the Elderly Care Program at Karabük University Vocational School of Health Services carried out a meaningful series of events by visiting nursing home residents on the weekends of November 10, 16, and 23, 2024.
During these visits, three different art therapy activities held between our students and nursing home residents were met with great interest and enthusiasm. The love, attention, and participation of our elderly residents during these activities provided an unforgettable experience for our students. These interactions created significant spiritual gains for both sides.
We extend our gratitude to the nursing home management and staff who hosted these meaningful events for their hospitality and cooperation. We are also thankful to our students and academics for their dedication and efforts. It is a great pleasure for us to witness such special moments and bring this event to life through the unifying power of art.
