Students from the Opticianry Program of the Department of Medical Services and Techniques at Karabük University Vocational School of Health Services, accompanied by their advisor Lecturer Mehmet Dağ, participated in Turkey’s first Health Sciences Festival (Healthfest) by setting up a color blindness booth.
Throughout the event, Opticianry Program students conducted color blindness tests and pupil measurements for participants. They also provided information about refractive errors, aiming to raise awareness about eye health.
This booth attracted significant attention from attendees during the Healthfest activities. Karabük University Vocational School of Health Services continues to support educational initiatives by enabling students to showcase their professional skills through such innovative events.
